Baking has been something I’ve enjoyed for as long as I can remember.  As a small child at my grandmother’s side, carefully placing M&M candies on top of cookie dough dollops, to crafting my first from-scratch  pie with apples from the neighbor’s trees, to learning to make traditional baklava from the elder church women at the Antiochian Orthodox church I attended for a time, baking has been a constant part of my life.  I’m thrilled to finally bring this passion to others with my cottage bakery, discover new and exciting ways to incorporate local ingredients, and further develop my sugar artistry.

Being a business owner on a small island home, I want to be certain that I’m being a good steward and community member of this special and magical place.  Part of this, for me, is to utilize local ingredients and sources, use organic and fair trade products, and use fully compostable and sustainable packaging as much as is humanly possible.  I not only require my treats to be delicious and beautiful, but to leave as small a footprint on this land as they can.
